I’ve gained some weight and I am the least bit mad about it. Some of you may know, I love the weight I’ve gained over the last 2 years. I put on some happy weight and with toning and strength training, I loved how my body started filling out. #gains 🍑

Fast forward to COVID-19 and this lockdown ... I’ve put on some more #quarantinepounds. Even though I tried to stay active while at home it just wasn’t competing with the fact that I was home all day eating. Coupled with getting laid off in April, things def took a turn. Mentally I was in a bit of a rut so I ate. BUT! I’m not mad at all because this is real life. It’s reality- we are humans and we gain weight! So don’t beat yourself up if you’re in the same place. If you want to change it or shed some of those pounds, put a plan together and stick with it! A group of friends and myself put together a June Challenge where we challenged ourselves to workout or do some type of movement each day. It was so amazing and we had an accountability crew to help each other along the way. Maybe that can be your way to stick to it!

My current plan is to curb how and when I eat and meal plan more. Since the majority of my weight is in my tummy area... THAT’S RECTIFIED IN THE KITCHEN. I know you don’t want to hear that. Lol But it’s true. I’ll still commit to working out or doing some type of moving each day. (ie: Daily Walks, 30 min workout, Daily 50 squats and 100 crunches)

Share your plans on how you are tackling #COVIDWeight if you have any! Let’s do this TOGETHER! WE GOT THIS! 💪🏽🖤
